At the Edge of the Unseen unfolds like a horizon between ocean and desert, where the boundaries of sky and earth dissolve into one another. Each brushstroke feels like a choice, each layered tone a step along a life-path. Vast blues encounter warm, earthen ochres, creating spaces of stillness where the gaze can settle, soften, and wander. This series is an invitation to cross thresholds, to step beyond what is known, and to listen for the voice that waits in silence – the voice of inner truth. Symbols of Eternity turns the gaze inward, into the memory of time itself. Here, color moves like strata of earth and water; metallic pigments of gold, bronze, copper and silver glimmer like fragments of ancient memory. Within these layers, mandalas rise and dissolve again, carrying with them the resonance of the twelve signs of the zodiac. Each symbol is more than ornament – it is an echo of the elements: earth, water, fire, and air. Together, they weave a cosmic map, a reminder that human life is always held within a greater order. These paintings do not stand still. They shimmer and shift as the light moves across their surfaces, releasing hidden forms as though time itself were breathing in color. One moment reveals a trace of ritual, another a constellation of golden sparks. Farbkonzepte und Serien Jede Serie hat ihre eigene Farbwelt. Sie folgt einem Konzept, das Atmosphäre erzeugt. In Mystische Pfade arbeiten Naturtöne wie Sand, Beige und erdige Nuancen als Ruhepol. In anderen Arbeiten öffnen kühle Blau- und Grüntöne den Raum, während einzelne warme Akzente das Bild halten. Metallics setzen Lichtpunkte, die wie kleine Konstellationen wirken. So ist jede Serie anders. Und doch gehören alle zusammen. Weil jede Arbeit aus derselben Haltung entsteht: aus dem Wunsch, Räume zu schaffen, in denen man innehalten kann. Wo Oberfläche und Bedeutung miteinander sprechen. Der Prozess des Schichtens Am Anfang steht eine Grundstruktur, ein Fundament. Darauf folgen Farbschichten, die ich auftrage, unterbreche, wieder freilege und weiterführe. Trocknungsphasen gehören dazu. Sie geben dem Werk Zeit, sich zu setzen. So entsteht eine Balance zwischen Intuition und Entscheidung. Linien sind dabei ein zweites Leitsystem. Manchmal sind sie präzise gesetzt, manchmal organisch und fast wie eine Spur. Oft erscheinen sie erst spät, wenn die Komposition ihre Richtung gefunden hat.
